Artistic Curriculum

Andrea Varca was born in 1963 in Torino, where he lives and works. 
His degree is in Architecture and he is certified to teach Art and Art History.
He trained in drawing, etching and painting techniques under well-known masters of his town and he also attended seminars at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and Kunsthojskolen in Holbaek (Denmark).

He worked for several years on animated films. He is currently a public school teacher and also teaches a course on figurative drawing in Scuola Nazionale di Cinema/Animation Department. 

He exhibited in several galleries in Torino and in 2007 had his first personal exhibition at the Wunderkammer Gallery. In 2009 he was selected for inclusion in the catalog of the Premio Acqui – IX International Biennial of Engraving.
Since 2012 he is taking part in travel journal exhibitions such as “Le metamorfosi del viaggiatore” in Milan and “Rendez-vous du carnet de voyage” in Clermont Ferrand.
